Field Inspection

Field inspection are performed to ensure the identity and genetic purity of the seed production plots according to national seed standards. Another purpose of field inspection is to detect seed borne disease which are listed in the national seed standards. Depending on the type of the seed production plot, field inspection are performed several times by technically qualified inspectors.
