Unprocessed seeds of approved farms are transported to the seed processing plants of companies with production licenses and after cleaning, treating and bagging, they are arranged into lots in several tons. The purpose of sampling is to prepare a very small   amount of a seed sample whose quality reflects the quality of the seed lot. Sampling of seed lots is done by trained and authorized samplers in accordance with the sampling principals of International Seed Testing Association (ISTA). From each seed lot to working samples and assurance are taken that the working sample is sent to the national or provisional reference laboratories for quality test and the assurance sample is kept in the seed  warehouse for at least one an half years. Sampling of seeds of imported crops like seed of domestically produced is done in the countries costumes.
